Merry Ole England: Choral Evensong and High Tea
Come and experience Choral Evensong according to the usage of the 1662
Book of Common Prayer. This service includes traditional readings,
prayers and sung canticles offered by the parishioners and clergy of St.
Mary’s Episcopal Church. Evensong will begin at 4:00 pm and everyone is
encouraged to come and participate. Following the service St. Mary’s will
host a traditional “high tea”. Although there is no cost, groups of more
than four are asked to pre-register so that adequate refreshments may be
provided. Choral Evensong will take place each Sunday, beginning
September 7th and will continue through October 26th.
Take advantage of this unique opportunity to experience important aspects
of the choral and cultural heritage of Anglicanism.
